You ever read Satori in Paris by Jack Kerouac? Great novella. I need to re-read it. I learned that word from that book. Satori. It’s a fun word. In the Zen Buddhist tradition, a satori is the experience of seeing into one’s nature. I dig that.

I have sculpins on the brain. I’ve also been tying the clouser variant I throw all spring and summer for smallies. I decided to combine them and see what happened. I’ll do a step by step soon.

    1. I didn’t even think of that name. It’s kinda a goby too said my friend John. I overlooked that as well. Glad my friends are around to keep me thinking 🙂

  1. The Clulpin looks awesome, but it’s just making me yearn to go fishing even more than before. But it’s 2 degrees outside right now. I’ll just keep reading your blog instead. Love it.
