Here’s how small of a world fly fishing is. Jeff sent me a message on facebook after seeing my post on Wisconsin musky asking if I was the guy he and a buddy had met while they were there fishing. Indiana plates on the truck, but it wasn’t me. It was my buddy Jordan who I met up there a few days later. Jeff’s from Maine. Small world. We talked and he said he’d send some flies. I owe him big time. These are sweet flies. I can’t wait to get on some musky water and rip these beauties.
I keep thinking there’s musky 2 hours north and it’s been a mild winter so far…
Alex W. said, It looks like you got some great Muskie flies! They seem reminiscent of Brad Bohen’s big muskie flies that I watched him tie over at Wildcat Creek Outfitters last Thursday. That’s something I’ve got to try, Muskie fishing on a fly rod looks like amazing fun.
