You ever read Satori in Paris by Jack Kerouac? Great novella. I need to re-read it. I learned that word from that book. Satori. It’s a fun word. In the Zen Buddhist tradition, a satori is the experience of seeing into one’s nature. I dig that.
I have sculpins on the brain. I’ve also been tying the clouser variant I throw all spring and summer for smallies. I decided to combine them and see what happened. I’ll do a step by step soon.

In reply to T.J. Brayshaw, Dave said, I didn’t even think of that name. It’s kinda a goby too said my friend John. I overlooked that as well. Glad my friends are around to keep me thinking 🙂
Scott Hanson said, The Clulpin looks awesome, but it’s just making me yearn to go fishing even more than before. But it’s 2 degrees outside right now. I’ll just keep reading your blog instead. Love it.
In reply to Scott Hanson, Dave said, Same here. Thanks man. Tie some up and start counting the days til it’s spring and the fish are biting
