Yesterday I got out with my friends John, Don, and Gary for a nice float on the Tippecanoe river. The weather was great, the wind made rowing suck at times, but the fish for the most part cooperated. The bite wasn’t crazy, it was downright slow at some points. The Tippe’ is super low right now which seems to be affecting it. Don caught one fish (pictured below) that seemed to have been attacked from above. It’s dorsal was chewed up and it had flank wounds. Tough little bastards. We all caught fish, I performed some amazing long distance releases. I’m practicing Zen fly fishing. That’s my excuse.

Oh and I got to use my new Costa Double Haul’s. The green mirror lenses are amazing. More on that later.
