Tying some weedless flies for bass and musky/pike. I’ve had an idea to use the Misfit heads on 35mm articulated shanks and 2/0 weedless hooks lately. I want something to throw into the shit. The heavy nasty get tangled up but that’s where the smart fish live type of shit. I wanted something with little to no weight, besides the weight of wet zonker, to throw into lily pads and slide slowly over them on a hot summer night. I have this vision of the lily pads erupting with a fish slamming that fly. It’ll happen. I’m damned sure it’ll happen. I got the fly, I know where to put it, all I need is summer to get here to complete this equation.
