December 24th, 2011 was my first post on this here website blog thingamabob. It’s been a fairly strange trip if truth be told. Where I’m at now is miles from where I started and for that I am truly grateful. I started this off with no intentions but to get me back into writing and photography. I’m not sure what happened where but I guess it struck a chord with some folks and it seemed fun enough to keep going. I’m sure I accidentally pissed some folks off too in these past few years, and for that, I am sorry. It’s definitely been a fun two years and I’m looking forward to many more. There are many more adventures planned and many flies in the works for 2014. Year 3 is shaping up to be even more bitchin’ than those before. To everyone who reads my crap, thank you. Seriously thank you. I’m not good at receiving praise, some of you who’ve met me might have noticed that, but I truly do appreciate every single kind word that’s ever been said. To all my friends both new and old, I love you all and I hope your holidays are filled with smiles and laughter. If not, whiskey.

I remember a couple of years ago seeing some stickers in our club booth at Indiana On the Fly with PileCast.net. I also remember thinking what the fuck is PileCast.net.
Good job, I love the site you have put together. For the folks that don’t know you personally this site is Dave. There is no bullshit.
